Two-Year Master of Science - Research MS(R) Programs at IISER Tirupati

Preamble

Master of Science – Research (MS(R)) Program (2-years) at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is a postgraduate degree which is focused on developing research skills and culminating in a dissertation. This is to foster advanced research for students aspiring toward excellence in the sciences. As a research institute, IISER Tirupati offers this unique postgraduate program for highly motivated students who are interested in pursuing their research careers in Biological, Chemical or Physical sciences.

The institute emphasizes on interdisciplinary approach, providing multiple specialization tracks that students can choose based on their interests. The MS(R) curriculum is designed to create a robust scientific environment that supports students through a broad spectrum of coursework and an in-depth research thesis project spread over two years.

Graduates of the MS(R) program will be well-equipped for doctoral studies, research and development careers, collaborative scientific work, or non-traditional paths in science and technology.
