Research Interests

My lab will be focussing on the following areas of research.

  • Cell adhesion molecules in neurodegeneration and neurite outgrowth.

  • Neurodegeneration in diabetes-cell adhesion molecules and neuronal membrane proteins.

  • G protein signalling in platelets and neutrophils.

Newer research interest (in collaboration with external institutes/industry)

  • Quadrangularin in bone regeneration.

  • Mycobacteriophages.
